NetGuard
NetGuard is a private DDoS protection platform for any app that integrates the SDK—including mobile games, PC games, real-time applications, and in-app web services. App ingress is distributed across dynamic gateways, the origin remains concealed, and clients switch routes when a node or path degrades.
Who It Serves
- App operators: Protect their apps and embedded services in a dedicated environment;
- Solution providers: Build and deliver complete protection systems for app operators.
Use Cases
- Any app with the SDK integrated, including mobile games, PC games, and real-time applications;
- TCP and UDP sessions from any integrated app, plus in-app pages and HTTP APIs;
- Dedicated environments across colocation, public cloud, or hybrid cloud;
- Workloads that require dedicated nodes, domains, configuration services, and an administration console.
Core Capabilities
Attack Resilience
Distributed gateways absorb attack traffic and spread app ingress across independent entry points. Add gateways, protected nodes, and networks as traffic and attack volume grow.
Seamless Reconnection
When a node fails or a path degrades, the client moves to an available node and continues the app session, reducing disconnects and repeated logins.
Origin Concealment
Clients connect only to dynamic gateways, while the origin accepts traffic only from approved Shield servers. This reduces exposure and bypass risk.
Intelligent Routing
Assign candidate nodes by country, region, and ISP, then select the fastest stable route based on live connection quality.
Connection Control
Manage connection resources by instance, source IP, device, and concurrency to help origins remain stable under load.
Real Client IP
Private deployments can install a real IP plugin when the application needs client addresses for logs, regional analysis, or access control.
Platform Support
| Client | Minimum version | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Windows application | Windows 7 | EXE / DLL |
| Android | Android 4.4 (API 19) | AAR |
| iOS / iPadOS | iOS 12 | Static library |
Deployment Options
- Free trial: you provide eligible test servers; NetGuard deploys the nodes and binds them to your trial instance, where you configure forwarding rules and validate the service for one week;
- Private deployment: dedicated gateways, Shield servers, configuration services, and an administration console for app operators or solution providers, built around production requirements.
