Free Trial
NetGuard provides a free one-week trial. You provide the test servers and deployment access; NetGuard deploys the gateways and Shield servers and binds them to your trial instance. You sign in to the administration console, configure forwarding rules in your trial instance, then integrate the SDK and validate the app.
Regional Eligibility
Trials are available only on networks outside mainland China. Clients, gateways, Shield servers, and origins must all be located outside mainland China. Trial nodes cannot be assigned to clients in mainland China, and traffic cannot be forwarded to a server there. If either the client or origin is in mainland China, discuss a private deployment first.
Confirm this restriction before preparing servers or applying. Trial traffic and test data must remain outside mainland China.
Included
- Test gateways and Shield servers installed on customer-provided overseas servers;
- The applicable Windows, Android, or iOS SDK;
- A trial AppId, configuration endpoint, and access to your trial instance in NetGuard's administration console;
- Validate forwarding, route selection, node failover, and seamless reconnection;
- Integration troubleshooting based on observed results.
What to Prepare
- App platforms and minimum OS versions;
- TCP, UDP, or in-app web traffic to be forwarded;
- Test servers outside the Chinese mainland and agreed deployment access;
- Client test regions and origins outside the Chinese mainland;
- Expected online devices, connections, and test ports;
- The current attack or network reliability problem.

Send the information above to Online Support. Deployment is scheduled after regional and infrastructure eligibility is confirmed.

Scope Review
Confirm regional eligibility, app platforms, traffic types, origins, and acceptance goals.
Environment Setup
You prepare the servers and access. NetGuard deploys the gateways and Shield servers and binds them to your trial instance; you sign in to the administration console and configure forwarding rules in that instance.
Client Integration
Download the SDK, follow the Developer Guide for synchronous initialization, and connect the test application through its local address.
One-Week Test
Validate normal traffic, weak-network recovery, node failover, sleep and resume, and long-lived application sessions. Do not release the trial build to production.
Production Plan
After validation, design a private production environment around user regions, application scale, node resources, and operational requirements.
